How to ask us to delete your data.

You can ask Centera to delete the personal information we hold about you. This page explains how to ask, what we delete, what we are required to keep, and when you can expect it done.

How to make a request

Tell us who you are and what you'd like deleted. You can reach us in either of these ways:

  1. Call (469) 985-3249, Monday to Friday, 10 am to 6 pm Central, and say you want to make a data deletion request.
  2. Use the contact route on the contact page, and include your name, the phone number or email address you used, and the name of the business you dealt with.
  3. We confirm it's you. We may ask a simple question to check that the request comes from the person whose data it is, so that nobody can delete your information but you.

What we delete

When we confirm a request, we remove personal information tied to you from the systems we run:

  • your name, phone number and email address,
  • messages, call summaries and notes on your customer card,
  • booking history and review responses linked to you, and
  • your consent and opt-in records for text messages, after we add your number to a do-not-contact list so you aren't messaged again.

What we may need to keep

Some records we cannot delete, or must keep for a set time, because the law or our accounting requires it. Examples include invoices and payment records, tax and billing documents, records we need to defend a legal claim or resolve a dispute, and records of your opt-out so we respect it.

When we keep something, we keep only what is needed, we limit who can see it, and we delete it once the required period ends. We will tell you what we kept and why.

How long it takes

We complete deletion requests within 30 days of confirming your identity. If a request is large or involves records held by a business that uses Centera, we may contact you inside that window to say what is happening. When it is done, we confirm it to you by the same route you used to ask.

If you are a customer of a local business that uses Centera, that business may also hold some information about you on its own. We will tell you who to contact if that applies.
