Why the consult comes first
In an aesthetics practice, the first visit is usually a conversation. A new client sits down with a provider or coordinator, talks about what she is considering, and leaves with a plan and a next appointment. It is a different kind of booking than a standard service, and it deserves its own page.
When consultations are booked by phone and message, the front desk spends hours on scheduling that could be done by the client herself, on her own time, often late at night.
Separate pages for consults and services
Centera builds one booking page for new-client consultations and another for each returning service. The consultation page might ask for her name, contact details and a short note about what she would like to discuss, and offer only the slots you open for consults. The service pages are for people who already have a plan and just need the next visit on the calendar.
You can set how long each one takes, which provider or room it uses, and how much room to leave between clients for cleanup and notes. Services that need a provider's approval first can be set to request a booking rather than confirm one.
What happens after she books
- The calendar updates. The slot is held on the right provider and room calendar, synced with the one you already use.
- A confirmation goes out. It carries the time, the address and your arrival instructions, such as forms to bring or how early to arrive.
- A reminder follows. Reminders help protect a provider's schedule, since a no-show on a long visit is hard to fill on short notice.
- Changes are self-serve. Reschedule and cancel links are in every confirmation, so a client can move a visit without calling during a busy hour.
What the page does not say
The booking page lists your services and logistics. It does not describe results or promise anything about treatments, and we do not add claims of that kind. Any wording about services is yours to approve, and anything clinical stays between your providers and clients, in person.
A calmer front desk
The practical gain is for your team. Instead of fielding "do you have anything next week?" for the tenth time, the coordinator sees a calendar that fills itself with consults at the hours you chose. Evenings and Sundays, when the desk is empty, stop being dead time. New clients also arrive having already seen your address, your arrival notes and your policies, which makes the first five minutes easier for everyone.
QR codes for the desk
You also get a QR code that opens the booking page. Put it on the front desk, on a card at checkout, or on printed material in the waiting room. A client who has just finished a visit can book her follow-up on her phone before she leaves, and a friend she mentions you to can scan it later from a photo of the card.
The 15-minute review shows a booking page set up for your services and consultation flow.
Questions owners ask
Can I require a consultation first?
Yes. You can keep certain services off the page until the client has had a consult.
Do clients fill out forms through this?
Booking collects contact details and a short note. Your intake and consent forms stay in whatever process you already use.
Will she get text reminders?
Text confirmations start once your business texting is registered. Until then, reminders go by email and in the app.
Can different providers have different calendars?
Yes. Each provider and room keeps their own availability.
