Features · The app

Your shop on your phone, without checking five places.

Owners work with their hands busy and their phone in a pocket. The Centera app is one place that taps your shoulder when something needs you, and stays quiet when it does not.

The problem with five inboxes

A landscaper checks missed calls on the phone, messages on Facebook, a booking email on the laptop, a review notification from Google, and a text from his wife about a quote. Something always slips. Nobody forgot on purpose; the information just lived in too many places.

What you can do alone

Before adding any app, tidy what you have.

  • Pick one phone number for the business and one email address. Stop giving out the others.
  • Turn on notifications for calls and the messages apps your customers use, and turn off everything else that buzzes during a job.
  • Make a short note on your phone titled Callbacks. When a call comes in during a job, write the name and number there, then clear it at lunch.
  • Set a daily ten-minute slot, say 12:30 and 5:30, when you answer messages in one sitting.
  • Star your three best customers so their messages never sit.

What Centera sets up

We install the Centera app on your phone and give you your own login. We connect it to your calls, your inbox, your bookings and your reviews, then send a test ping so you see it work before the first real customer does.

The app pings you for a missed call with the caller's summary, a new message, a new booking, a changed appointment, and a new review. Each ping opens the customer's card, with the history in one thread. Tap the number and you are calling them back.

How it works day to day

You get a short ping, you glance, you tap. A new booking shows the service, the time and the address. A missed call shows who called and what they wanted. A review shows the stars and the words.

Everything else, such as invoices, documents to sign, and the planner for your posts, sits behind the same login, so you are not learning a second system. Staff can have their own logins if the plan includes them.

If you travel, the app works from any phone. If you lose your phone, we remove its access and set up the new one.

A normal day with the app and what the app is not

At 8:10 a ping says a customer booked a 10 o'clock estimate. At 11:30, while you are on a ladder, a missed call arrives with a summary: a leaking roof vent, address, callback number. You tap to call back from the truck at lunch. At 4 a review comes in with five stars and you tap to say thanks. At night nothing buzzes unless something needs you.

That quiet is the point. A good tool shortens your list of things to remember.

It is not a place to scroll. There is no feed and no ads. It does not replace your calendar or your email app; it connects to them. And it does not send anything to a customer without your setup or approval. If you ever want fewer pings, you can switch off any kind from the settings.

Where to start

For one week, write down every place a customer reached you: phone, text, Instagram, email, walk-in, Google. That list shows how many doors you are watching by hand. The one inbox page shows how they collapse into one.

Questions owners ask

Do I need to be technical?

No. We install it, connect it and test it with you. If you can read a text message, you can use it.

Will it buzz all day?

Only for things that need you: calls you missed, messages, bookings and reviews. You choose which pings you want.

Can my staff use it?

Yes, on plans that include extra logins. Each person gets their own, so you can see who did what.

Is it on both iPhone and Android?

It works on a phone browser and as an app on a home screen, so it runs on either.
