Locksmiths

Your locksmith calls, answered while you are under a doorknob.

A lockout caller is standing on a porch or in a parking lot and will call the next number within a minute. Here is where a locksmith's calls slip and what we set up so urgent ones reach you.

The real day on the road

A locksmith is usually a one-van operation. You are changing a cylinder at one address while a second customer is locked out across town. Your hands are on a tension wrench, the van is in a driveway, and the phone is in the cup holder.

Calls fall into two groups. Urgent ones are lockouts, a lost key, a door that will not latch after a break-in. Scheduled ones are rekeys, new deadbolts, lock replacement for a landlord, and keys cut for a business. The urgent callers will not wait, and the scheduled callers will happily book if someone answers.

Where jobs slip

  • The lockout call. The person is stranded and calls three numbers in a row. First to answer gets the job.
  • Missing details. A voicemail that says "call me back" has no address, no car or door type, and no way to know how urgent it is.
  • Scheduled work lost in the shuffle. A landlord asking for six rekeys, a business wanting a new access setup, both quietly book someone else.
  • Reviews after the work. Somebody who was grateful at midnight rarely writes a word the next day.

What we set up for you

Built around your service area, hours and rules, in your business's name.

  • Phone answering. Nora answers the calls you miss in your business's name, in English or Spanish. She takes the caller's name, number, location, and what is wrong, in their own words.
  • Urgent calls flagged. Tell us what counts as urgent for you, such as a lockout or a vehicle door, and Nora marks the call urgent and pings you at once, with the summary, so you can call back first.
  • Booking page. Scheduled work such as rekeys, installs and commercial visits gets a page with the open times on your calendar, confirmations and reminders.
  • App and inbox. The Centera app on your phone with a ping for calls, messages and bookings, and one inbox for email, Facebook, Instagram and Google chat.
  • Reviews. After the job every customer gets the same request with a direct link to Google, plus a line to tell you directly. A low rating anywhere pings you.
  • Site and listing. A one-page site that books and your Google listing fixed and kept right, with your service area.
  • Invoices and payment links. Sent and signed from the phone at the door.

What Nora will not promise

Nora does not promise an arrival time and does not give a price unless you provide and approve one. She tells a caller that the call has been flagged and the owner has been pinged, and she takes the location. She does not transfer the call; the ping reaches you, and you call back. She also does not advise anyone how to open a lock or bypass one. Nora works from the facts you approve, and everything else is a message for you.

Go deeper on each part

Three pages follow the jobs a locksmith gets asked about most, from the first ring to the review.

Where to start this week

Pull your phone log for the last month and look at the calls that did not connect. Call each number back and ask how they were resolved. You will learn how many were lockouts that went elsewhere. Then decide what counts as urgent for you, because that single rule drives how everything else is set up.

The free report shows how your business looks online next to the ones people compare it with, and the 15-minute review walks through what this would look like in your day.

Questions owners ask

What happens when someone is locked out?

Nora takes their location and details, marks the call urgent and pings you right away. You call back first.

Does Nora give an arrival time?

No. She does not promise times or prices unless you approve them. The owner calls back.

Does it work with a one-van business?

Yes. The ping goes to your phone, and the summary is saved on the customer's card for the callback.

Will callers know it is an assistant?

If a caller asks, Nora says she is an AI assistant for your company.
