Features · Google listing

The listing people see before they see your website.

When someone searches for a plumber or a barber nearby, the map result is often the first impression. If the hours are wrong or the phone number is old, they move on.

Why the listing matters

The little box with your name, stars, phone number and photos does more selling than most websites. It also fails quietly: holiday hours you forgot, a second old phone number, a category that does not match what you do.

A locksmith listed under the wrong category may not appear for emergency searches. A restaurant with last year's hours sends people to a locked door.

What you can do alone

Most fixes take an afternoon. See Google Business Profile setup for the longer walk-through.

  1. Claim and verify the profile for your business address or service area.
  2. Pick the right main category and add secondary ones for your other services.
  3. Check name, address, phone and hours. Match them to your website and signs exactly.
  4. Add real photos: the front, the work, the team, before and after.
  5. List your services with short plain descriptions.
  6. Turn on messaging and add your booking link.

What Centera sets up

We fix your listing and keep it right: details checked, categories set, photos added, your booking link attached. We track the calls and messages that come from it, so you can see it working.

Every Monday we draft a short Google post from your facts and the season, such as a service reminder or a slow-day offer. You get a ping to approve or edit. If you do not answer within a day, it posts as drafted, so approve it if you want changes.

How it works day to day

You open the app on Tuesday, read the draft, tap yes or change a line. The post appears on Wednesday. If hours change, tell us once and the listing is updated.

On bigger plans we also claim your business on dozens of directories so your name, address and phone match everywhere. We do not promise a ranking; the listing is simply right, which is the part you can control.

Common listing mistakes and what a post is for

Using a keyword stuffed name instead of your real name is the classic one, and it can get a profile suspended. Another is a service-area business showing a home address publicly. Others are duplicate listings from an old move, outdated holiday hours, and photos that are ten years old.

If you find a duplicate, do not ignore it. Report it or ask for it to be merged, because it splits your reviews.

A Google post is a small notice under your listing: a seasonal reminder, a new service, a slow-day offer. It is not an essay. Two lines and a photo are enough. Posts show that the business is active and give a person searching one more reason to tap Book. We draft them from your facts, so they match what you really do.

Keep an eye on questions too. People can ask questions on a listing, and a wrong answer from a stranger sits there until someone corrects it. We check for these and flag any that need your reply, so your listing says what you would say.

Where to start

Search your own business name on a phone. Check that every detail on the result is right, then look at who shows up next to you. The free report does that comparison for you.

Questions owners ask

Do I need a website for a listing?

No, but a page that books gives people a place to go. A listing alone still works.

Will you rank me first?

No one can promise that. We make sure the listing is complete, current and active, which is what you control.

Can I edit the post before it goes?

Yes. You can approve it, edit it, or ask for another.

Do you ever change my business name?

No. We use your real name, address and hours.
